An Introduction to Photoshop.

I have now used Photoshop for the first time. I have leant how to set up a file and what I should do differently when I make my collge magazine. I now know how to save the file as a PSD or a JPEG file. I have learnt about how to add images and create layers, I also know how to make some layers invisable. I can scale an image, using shift will keep an image in proportion while I resize. I separated an image from a background by using the polygon lasso tool; when it is required to do this to a 'soft object' (with fur and no hard lines) I now to use the feather option. I also have used the eraser tool to delete the background and I know how to adjust the size and hardness of the eraser. I have experimented with image adjustments and increased the brightness and contast of some of this images to make the picture look brighter generally. I created the ilusion of the image of the Eiffel Tower been behind the horizon by using the lasso tool and adjusting the order of the layers. This practice will be of great help when the time comes to produce my college magazine through photoshop.
